During his first seven (of twelve) years in India, Michael Enderle was responsible for an investment project in Pune worth CHF 80 million. As Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary of a mechanical engineering company, he substantially increased sales and increased the local market share.
During his time in India, Mr. Enderle set up and expanded various operations of companies with production facilities – while overcoming many obstacles. For example, he has experience in dealing with trade unions (during strikes and unrest) and can also point to successful negotiations with local and national authorities.
As head of the Swiss Business Hub India, Switzerland’s export and investment promotion organization, he and his team then accompanied around one hundred Swiss entrepreneurs a year in their challenges in the growth market of India.
Too many companies unnecessarily lose money in India. With the help of my experience and a (my) proven approach, our clients can make up for lost sales potential and eliminate inefficiencies in production.
Due to his profound experience in the areas of change and process management, including almost a decade of experience at management level, Mr. Enderle supports various Indian subsidiaries of our clients to optimise their cost structures in India – in sales as well as in production – in a sustainable way.
As a long-time manager in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune and former President and Board Member of the Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce India, Mr. Enderle has access to top-class networks in India – in the industry, diplomatic circles and trade associations.
