During his first seven (of twelve) years on the ground in India, Michael Enderle was responsible for a CHF 80 million investment project in Pune. As Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary of a mechanical engineering company, he substantially increased sales and local market share.
During his time in India, Mr. Enderle has established and expanded various companies with production facilities in the country - while overcoming many obstacles. For example, he has experience in dealing with trade unions (during strikes and unrest) and can also point to successful negotiations with local and national authorities.
As head of the Swiss Business Hub India, Switzerland's export and investment promotion organization, he and his team subsequently assisted around a hundred Swiss entrepreneurs each year with their challenges in the growth market of India.
