BOMAFA uses expertise of Dr. Wamser + Batra to establish a joint venture in India

For almost a century, BOMAFA ARMATUREN GMBH has been regarded as a competent partner for sophisticated steam pressure control valves in power plant and plant engineering. The family-run company is dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-quality valves, especially for critical applications. As the company has had a very successful supply relationship with India for many years, it decided in 2012 to set up a joint venture with a local Indian partner to manufacture in Ahmedabad / Gujarat.

Therefore, it was our goal to develop a sustainable model in order to sustainably participate in the Indian growth market through local value creation and adaptation of our products to local customer needs," says Friedrich Appelberg, Managing Partner of the BOMAFA Group of Companies. "After a thorough examination, we decided to cooperate with an Indian partner in the form of a joint venture. In order to select the right partner and to adequately prepare the talks for the establishment of the joint venture, we successfully used WB's expertise."
