The SCHELL company is regarded globally as a leading supplier of high-quality fittings for all aspects of building technology. Its products include washbasin taps, shower taps, urinal flushing systems as well as heating and gas taps.

"Since Schell sees itself as a globally successful company, it is logical that we want to be de facto present everywhere in the world. Or at least operate with a reliable sales and service structure in those markets that have a need for our products," says Dirk Lückemann, Managing Director Marketing and Sales.

Therefore, the company decided to establish a liaison office in India in 2008. The focus was on the implementation of export-promoting measures and the functioning of a communication channel between the German parent company and the Indian customers and Indian dealers.

As the sales potential continued to grow, the company decided to expand further in India and convert the local presence into a "Private Limited Company". Since then, the company has been able to distribute directly into the market and reliably guarantee service work on site with its own organization.
